Global sustainability partnerships
Material Exchange is working to bring change to the fashion industry – but we’re not doing it alone. We’re proud of the sustainability partnerships we’ve developed over the last several years. Check out our partners here!

UN Global Compact
Committing to Sustainability with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)
The very essence of Material Exchange’s operations is grounded in sustainability principles. Every decision made is done with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values in mind in an effort to improve our planet and its future. As the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, the UN Global Compact and all participants are working toward a goal of mobilizing companies worldwide to align with principles that uphold human rights, environmental protection, labor rights, and anti-corruption. Material Exchange is proud to join this esteemed movement and let it shape our approach to doing business.
Open Supply Hub (OS Hub)
Supporting open supply chain data of global apparel factories
Material Exchange is proud to be an active contributor to the Open Supply Hub (OS Hub). OS Hub is an open data tool that collectively maps apparel supply chain factories and their affiliations in one central location, listing factory names, addresses, and affiliations. Material Exchange is among the 500+ brands, retailers, and organizations contributing to and using OS Hub.
